Refund policy

All sales at GloomyBearStore.com are final sale. 

If you have placed your order by mistake please contact us within 1 Hour. More detailed information can be found via our FAQ. Please note this does not guarantee your order can be cancelled, and our general policies state all sales are final. However, if your order has not processed or shipped yet, we can attempt to cancel or edit your order. Orders that have been processed for shipping however cannot be cancelled or changed.

Gloomy Team does not respond to emails on Saturdays & Sundays. Our Hours of operation are M-F 9AM-5PMCST. 

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is significant damage such as damage from transit via the postal carrier. If you have received your item in such conditions please contact us within 7 days and we will provide a resolution. While certain orders are insured against damage, they are not insured if stolen after delivery. Please let your postal carrier know not to leave packages unattended. GloomyBearStore is not responsible for stolen packages. Please check our FAQ for step by step details for how to find packages that are marked delivered but unable to be found.

Returns and exchanges for defects/incorrect items etc:
To start a return, you can contact us at gloomybear@octas.jp. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In the event of damages and issues, please send photos of damaged item(s) to gloomybear@octas.jp. Please be sure to include your order number.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please note, refunds are only considered if the item cannot be replaced or exchanged.
